Debbie A. Harper is a graduate of Western Illinois University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts.  I was a paralegal for 15 years before I obtained my juris doctorate from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois in 2011.  I was admitted to the bar of the State of Illinois in November of 2011.  I  am a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Peoria County Bar Association and Tazewell County Bar Association.

Debbie's main area of practice is family law.  This encompasses adoption, divorce, custody, visitation and orders of protection.  She is also a certified Guardian ad litem, advocating for children in the middle of difficult situations.  

Debbie Harper married the love of her life, Heath, in September of 2008 and is a mother to two delightful children.  They live in Groveland, Illinois with their pets, Cookie (a blue heeler) and Midnight (the cat).  Debbie's favorite way to relax while away from the office is spending time with her family and friends
